The Manchester Military Tattoo
14 July 2007

We were asked if we could provide a uniformed honor guard for the Falklands veterans at the  military tattoo held at the M.E.N arena, Manchester. As it was in aid of SAMA 82 we readily agreed. We spent nearly 12 hours at the event  for 30 minutes in the arena, spending most of our time in the wings or upstairs with the SAMA stand during the intermissions.

All geared up ready for the arena. Paul, Darren, Jonathan, Christopher and Alex on the right who is carrying a radio with its aerial folded which  had attached a Union Flag when we entered the arena.

The "Brothers Grim" or so they referred to them selves.

Although we were there for a long period of time and only went on at the end of the show it was a good day and a unique experience. The periods between our appearances allowed us to watch part of the show and have a good natter. It was also great to meet more of the veterans and give something back to them.

Finally: Jane the Groups coordinator for the day.

What Jane is doing with that grenade we do not actually know.
We were going to have a caption contest but on second thoughts...
