Dockyard 800 - Portsmouth 15th & 16th September 2007  Dockyard 800 turned out to be one of our best events this year and maybe, the best since we were created. An almost Full turnout of members on the Saturday helped us cope with the mass visitors that descended on us as we were positioned close to the entrance to the docks. Representing the troops of the Task Force several members spent the day in CEMO order giving the visitors an idea of what was carried by the average yomper. During the event we represented the Welsh Guards, the Parachute Regiment, Royal Marine Commando and the Royal Navy. Visitors to our display included Falkland Veterans and a Falkland Islander.

We had been promised the use of a Landing craft from the Falklands war but on the eve of the event we received the bad news that she was unsafe and much to the disappointment of the members  we were denied access to her.  So we had to be contempt with looking at her from our pitch. Unfortunately we were that busy we did not take the harbour tour and missed seeing H.M.S Fearless that was moored awaiting an unknown fate.   General view of the display
